I wrote my last post at home before coming into work, which put me behind schedule a bit. However one of the blessings of my job is that I don't have to fret about getting into work "on time".
My journey takes me past the Westgate towers which is built on a bridge over the river. As I passed the tower I noticed a mother duck attempting to walk her brood across the road! I stopped my car to shield the miniature family so that they could cross the road safely. While I was waiting for the ducks to get to the other side I noticed in my rear view mirror the chap in the car behind me looking on impatiently. The thought occurred to me - that if I hadn't made myself late in the first place, putting me in front of that driver - the family of ducks may have had to deal with him instead.
