I like that. I assume the moral is that he should have taken the hint and joind 'Them' when they were rounding up the leftists & Juden. Better to be in the tent pissing out eh?
It also says he was a convicted felon: 'Niemöller was brought to a "Special Court" on 2 March 1938 to be tried for activities against the State'
